Well where to start. first thing is, its hot here.high 30's everyday. Place is very noisy.Tuk Tuks flying around everywhere, scooters, cars the works. crossing the road is an experience. didn't buy a map til the second day and just basically wandered in completely the wrong direction. saw very little in terms a couple of fairly interesting temples. luckily later tried going right out of the hotel and it was a completely different ball game. lights, shops, stalls, bars, fresh smoothies for 20 baht,(60 to the pound) pat thai noodles for 20, big bottle of lager for 50, deep fried insects and fish that are unbelievebly ugly. basically they will eat/deep fry anything ! loads of mangy dogs and cats.not sure if they deep fry them though ! haven't seen the seedy side of bangkok at
