Paul Michael James Drea Toke our second overnight train in three days to Surat Thani then the old pick up truck with seats to our accom just outside Khao National Park

Rustic type bungalows surrounded by trees and the limestone peaks i think called Karsts, not sure.

anyway the water was too low in the rivers to allow rafting and the like, i didn't fancy trekking up hills and stuff and i'd ridden elephants so i was a bit at a loss as to what to do.

luckily we were taken to a river where small monkeys go for a bathe at the end of the day and i ended up spending two days down there. there was a rope swing into the water, wouldn't have held winnie but could hold a baby elephant.

i had three goes and looked like a big girl everytime.

had more than a few beers on paddy's night and got lost looking for my room, doh ! bloody trees.

check out the size of the frog that turned up to the BBQ ! better looking than winnie still.

on to Krabi next, this place was hotter than Bangkok !! sea next.
