The beach at Candolim stretches for miles and consists as you walk north of the Arabian sea on your left, which we have found quite dangerous with large waves crashing onto the shore and a tricky undertow which easily pulls you off youir feet-its not as clean as I remember with raw sewage at certain times making swimming a bit unsavoury to say the least. The beach itself consits of clean white sands with rows of multicoloured sunbeds with shacks which serve food behind them. Its amazing what you see on the beach and it offers more goods for sale than Oxford street.
