Darjeeling I would have really liked to make it to Darjeeling, unfortunately I'm leaving India tonight and going to Europe. I didn't have enought time to make it over to Darjeeling but next time I come to India I will be going there for sure.
Landmark Hey,
I can definitely see what your talking about with the language barrier as I mentioned, but did you not find the forum to be extremely commercialized and constantly trying to get you to join again and get your friends to join?
Antecedants If you find time head up for Darjeeling where you will find that a James Taylor, I think, built a tea factory about 1875 at Castleton Estate. Maybe you are related to him a long time ago and hence your interest in India? There was also a James Edward John Taylor played cricket for the Bengal Governor's XI in 1918/19
Landmark Forum is not that bad Colin, I think your experience in the Landmark Forum has to be a matter of a cultural and language barrier. I did the LF in the Uniteds States and thought it was great. I can't and won't compare it to the meditation you are talking about because I think they are totally different. Some people prefer more experiential approaches to personal growth and I think that is great. The Landmark Forum is much more of a philosphical conversation. I really liked it and would reccomend participating in your own language and culture.
Enjoy your journey!
Michael

Hi Colin Hi Colin,
Say hi to Cami for me as well.
I didn't know you were over there too.
You and your sister are great people for taking such a big step to help others, and to see "how the other half lives".
I wish you well. Get more play in with those kids while you can.
Jimmy
Hi. My name is Colin, I'm 21 years old and have no idea what I'm doing with the rest of my life. Currently I'm in India traveling around trying to figure that out, and I think I just might while I'm here. I will be traveling west across India for 4 months and then staying in Europe for 2 months, writing my experiences here. I hope as my entries come, you will notice a change, for the better, in the person I'm becoming. I hope you enjoy hearing about this trip, and hope you find time to pray for me and my sister during this journey. ... full info
