Want to do something chilled and relaxing? rite there guys! first off... bastards! i am mega jealous of the two of you, make me wish i took a gap yr... grrrr!!!! anyway, whilst in wellington if you wanna do something chilled and relaxing go to the far side of the bay (not the city side) its called eastbourne and its my home town!!! and anyway walk down the coast to pencarrow head. its pretty deserted that side of the city and therll be loads of pawa shells on the beach for ur collecting pleasure, the (bloody :P)maoris poach the meat and just chuck the shells back into the water and they wash up usually in perfect condition. I was there over XMAS and got 3 super fresh full sized big ones, plus loads of rele nice peices. Its also a little blue penguin colony around abouts there so go check it out! also if ur stuck for things to do ive got a mate hud just love to meet travellers (hes obviosuly bored) and hed be happy to show u round a bit? ping me back if ur interested. Also if u can manage it GO TO WARD ISLAND (not Somes Island, thats an ex leper colony and is lame), ur not rele sposed to cos its a bird sancutary but the locals go there all the time for sleep over bbqs - is a real kiwi experience!
Enjoy guys xx
Rafting It's about time you had some real adventure. How many class V rapids were there...what was the river. Tony and I just rafted the Upper Kern on Friday in the middle of a big rain storm...cold and wet but lots of fun. Have a great time...
hi there How-dee,
Hope all is well. Looks like a pretty epic area to explore!
Things are wonderful here, I've been working loads and loads. I did 7.30-5 the other day. Been so knackered. Got a mates 21st tomorrow which should be good. Catriona's 18th Monday and then back to work again.
Friday got an annual dinner to go to for my old hockey club.
Sorry it's so brief.
Best be off now,
Simon
Looks Fun Your trek looks fun. Tony and I just went hiking through Yosemite. Hit snow, rain, sun and hiked Hetch Hetchy and to Carrion Falls. Both were lovely. Then we rafted the Upper Kern and had a blast. Tim stayed home with the girls and work. I'll send you photos later. Have fun and stay safe. Did you decide to do that tour in NZ?
Love, Kim, Tony, Tim

Look out for Will F, Nick H, Sabrina and Katie K (all of ex-n'hall fame) in NZ cause they're all out there (as far as i know...some may have returned...) the chances of seeing them might be slim but make sure you keep an eye out for them! Enjoy yourselves, take care x x

Wish you were here Today it was so windy the geese had to lay down when they were pecking at the ground.
:|
Hope you're having a better time than the geese (if they could see these pictures they'd be flying over to peck at you).
See yo' on the flip side.
Keep it real.

My name is Chris. I am 18 years old and live in Cambridge. I have a friend called Grace and we are going around the whole world. I was very excited about this but now I am more scared, like this; AAAAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! I have set up this blog thing with no help from Grace because I am the organised one. I am also the courageous, good-looking one but more of that later. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you our Travel Blog, which I have wittily named CHRIS AND GRACE'S TRAVEL BLOG THINGY!... full info
