So... I guess everybody's given up on this blog by now.... SORRY GUYS! I thought it would be silly not to post up this entry as I uploaded all these photos whilst I was still in Ecuador - I just never got around to writing the text! The weekend after climbing Pichincha, we spent a long one in Montañita, over 10 hours away from Quito (Thurs 1st - Sun 4th July). The weather was pretty muggy but I still managed to burn my legs on the beach on the Friday. In the evening, we had a few beers in some of the street bars before heading to one of the clubs (where even a dog was on the dance floor!). Hey everyone! Thanks for the comments received on my first entry. I´m slowly getting the hang of this blog malarkey. I´ve been here nearly a fortnight and seem to be living for the weekends! Friday 13th June Along with our new housemate Stephan (from Swizerland), Markus, Nadia and I went out after work for a meal before meeting Jorge (IAESTE organiser), Elisabeth (from Austria) and Laetitia (from France) at a bar that seemed more like a house. We sat in the fluffy corner which had fluffy walls, floor and cushions - very chilled! (I´m thinking we should make one in our house next year Omi haha.)
