Looks like such an inherently happy place to be; so much colour! Stunning and inspirational pictures as always Miss CatBrook ;0) "Holidaying in the North" sounds blissful, just what my battered brain needs...
Hey, the falls.... Argentina shares the Iguzú falls with Brazil. They are on our (Argentina) side of the map. I mean, it´s ok, I love them, they are awesome, but they don´t belong to Brazil. And yes, they are the most outstanding landscape I have ever seen in my whole life. Love. Graciela.
v nice lovely jubbly, i didnt see any carnavales or scantily dressed women like this, went in may and it was flipping freezing, nice photos, you obviously picked the right time of year to visit ! feliz viaje
lovely pics and text I liked the description of my country, my land, my place in the world, although I belong to THE WORLD. Thank you. Love from Argentina.
Graciela.

Wow I live in Brazil and I've never been to the Pantanl. I'm definitely going to go backpacking in South America next year. I really enjoyed reading you adventures here in Brazil. You need to go back and visit Rio in beautiful and sunny day :). See ya
Memories Thanks Catherine for the photos which triggered some good memories.
I used to live in Changwon from 1997-2002 and enjoyed looking at pics of the city again.
I think the itinerant teacher in Korea has a good idea regarding your lifestyle, living quarters, and neighborhoods...and yeah, the idea of drinking with someone you met and feeling perfectly fine about it, is common to us expats.
The city has grown a little since I've been there...my wife and I went last year--there is now a Starbucks...a few more shopping malls...a TGIF's (I think) and more...the downtown scene is fun as is the Yong Ji Mote area....going to Masan or Busan on a weekend is well worth doing. The IP or O'Briens can be fun too^^.
Have a great Korean stay and soak up the experience.
Brazil rocks! Wonderful country, the best people of the world.
That's the way it is, SURPRISED, everything in Brazil is much better than we imagine.
Awesome pictures, congratulations for the text as well.
Amazing! I just found you and spent most of the day reading your adventures. I'm so-o-o jealous. I traveled to a few of your places with my husband but don't think I can do it now physically. I hope you travel again for your pleasure and mine, both literary and photographic.
Great blog, thank you I'm in a similar situation to you, having returned home 2 days ago after 2 years of travel. I came home with malaria and serious jet lag so am still very much recovering and doing nothing but like you had thought that when I'm better some sort of continuity of travel habits would ease the transition back to "reality"- perhaps even just doing a few trips to places in my own country i would otherwise have ignored. Anyway, your blog made a great read, thanks :)
Hey there! Just browsing and got sucked in by your beautiful photo's and my memories of Lao. Especially Tat Lo where we also stayed with the incomparable Mama Pap!! Her snake Laap was incredible! Thank you, great blog
just came across your blog......... I'm so happy to have found, and read your blogs. The ones on your South American adventures will serve me well as I have always planned on getting there sometime. I just hope I'd have the same happy and exciting adventures ...... though I doubt I can write about it as well as you do. You're good.
Awesome trip Love to see others travel. My wife and i did a 4 months rtw trip and it was the best thing ever. The only bad thing is that now we want to go again and are trying to think of ways to scrape it together. AWESOME that you kids had that much time to run the globe.
