How good am I? Yeah! Being with me made it into the highlights! Obviously they are in chronological order or I would be at the top.
So I guess youu'll be either home or on your way through the skies right now. It makes me sad! Speak to you from home. Becky, xxx
What a fab entry at the end of this journey, loved reading all your thoughts and recalling some of the places I have experienced aswell! I love all the photos too......Sarah :-)
Insightfully Inspiring... Thank you for sharing a brief yet eclectic summary of your adventures... I'm in the process of planning the unplannable (i.e.travel) and your blog really shows how only loose plans are needed, for the randomness of where you find yourself (and in what situation) is all part of the experience.
The paragraph on safety is very apt... the world ain't a bad place as the propoganda driven media would have us believe... it's just full of different people with different thoughts and ideas, opportunities and endevours... many struggling to get by with what little they have, and so when an opportunity is "given" by careless backpackers; you can't be suprised if that money hanging out of your back pocket, or 80-million-mega-pixel camera is stolen for your unzipped bag.
Please keep writing, you appear to be very talented at it. Many Thanks, Will (aspiring Nomad)
Safe trip home! Dear, your last blog made me smile and laught, just like all the previous ones did, thanks again for sharing those stories! Wish you both a safe trip back home, success in your job search and hopefully an other around the world trip not too far off! Let me know if you were to stop by China again :-) Xin Nian Kuai Le!(happy chinese new year)
What an amazing trip! Wow! What an amazing trip you've had. We've now been travelling for a similar amount of time and have followed a very similar route to you so it's been great to see your pictures and remember the great times we've had. We have a few more months until we finally hit the UK again but I hope your return goes smoothly and I'm sure you will enjoy seeing everyone you've missed - something I can't wait for! Happy future travels!
I loved your posting and pictures! Looks quite a lot like our Mardi Gras here in southeast Texas and Louisiana, US! And our Mardi Gras is only 3 weeks away! I'll be taking pictures and posting on my blog too. In March I return to Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, but, alas, I will have missed their 'Carnival'.
Thanks again. Patt
Thanks! Thanks for all your nice comments everyone, they keep me sane after hours tapping away in an internet cafe;)
Kathy, as far as I'm aware 75% of the falls are in Argentina...I certainly accessed the largest part of them on the Argentinian side!....you're not Brazilian by any chance are you;) (just a joke!!)
An other great blog (getting used to those!) and wish you would stay on the road slightly longer! Wish you both a great time in Uruguay and same trip back home! Pura Vida
Brazil looks ace! Awesome pics as ever - especially love the ones of the caimens. I like to imagine you sitting right in front of their faces to get the close ups. Paul looks like Robinson Crusoe in the one where he's holding up the fish he caught! Did you eat the piranhas?
Not even one de-railment on the death train? How dissapointing.
Hi Cat! Great to hear you are now in Peru! An other amazing blog and what an experience...feel like I barely touched Peru when I read your blog and make me want to go back there again!!
Love the "look" part ... indeed, guess we have all been in that situation! (let you imagine in China how it went at the beginning!)
What's next for you two?
Great post and awesome photos! Hello,
Browsing other people's travel stories...just had to pop in and say I loved your post on Peru. Nice writing, and great pictures! We visited Peru in April and loved it.

PS-I don't think I could stand on a crowded bus for 6 hours. You deserve a medal for that one.
Chilled but not stirred Great insight into S.America. Some of the pics look like a setting for a spaghetti western! What a great idea for running the buses - pity its not 100% all the time.
madness Why would anyone want to throw themselves out of a plane? Having said that it looks aboslutely fab. Great views you wouln't be able to get from anywhere else.
