Memories It has been 26 years since we visited Amsterdam but Grandpa Macaulay played a joke on Grandma on our bus tour of the Red Light District one night. He and some other fellow tour members went off together while Grandma and I stayed back in our hotel with Reg and Mary. We then joined up with the bus later that evening to find Grandpa and two other gentlemen missing and the tour guide said they had lost him and they thought he had partaken of the proffered delights, and when they wandered back a half hour late the whole bus full of waiting folks razzed them. It was funny to watch Grandma's reaction and Reg and Mary asking, "What's so funny?" Of course the late ones had been in a pub drinking Amstel or similar the whole time. Thanks for the memory. That and the pot almost as present as the beer and cheese! :)
Awesome! Thanks Cass and Andrew for sharing so many wonderful details of this visit. How special it must have been for you to meet the family of your sponsored child and to visit the school. I am excited to read more about your adventures now that Kathy has told me about this.
Great trip guys! Yet again you two never cease to amaze me! Ezequiel was on the same trip just 2 weeks before you! (He says to tell you that they aren\'t Llamas - they are alpaca\'s!) He wishes you both well too! Talk to you soon and hope to see you at Thanksgiving!
xoxo ~Janet
hmmm... I personally agree wholeheartedly with the title of this blog, however, if you were anyone's kids but my own I would SO highfive you...glad to see you crawling around in ice and snow, as you're soon coming back to Canada- yeah!
Miss you guys. Hi Andrew and Cass,
Wow, what an experience the both of you have had. Looking forward to seeing the both of you when you get back. A year flew by. Call me when you reach Toronto, my cell # is still the same.
Ciao and Safe Travels.
So Incredible!!! Wow, that looks amazing.. You guys must be having so much fun.. and yes, the pictures look good for your first attempt at underwater photography.. LOL.. So, now I only have one question.. When are you coming home?? Cause I'm in serious need of a drummer, and I think I found us a guitar player willing to play when you get back, too..
Hi Guys Andrew get a hair cut. Cass you look great. Ha ha!!
P.S. You can't bring your elephant home eh! I don't think John will board it there with Willow and I'm not taking it here.
