AMAZING!! What a time you're having Caro - very jealous, it looks wonderful and exciting. And, is Les on the tour with you - sure looks like Les!! Had a text from Sal, she's right up in the north of India, Dharmshala. Saw the Dalai Lama and is very near mum's birthplace. xxx
Thankyou Thankyou so much , now that I am home and beginning to reflect , I have surprised myself!!! But i will leave these thoughts for a final blog - can you say who you are as you didnt put a name to your comment!!! Caro xx

Fabarooney Glitz big time what! Must be very confusing with all the imported sights - believe there is a sphinx somewhere along with many Elvis lookalikes... Thoroughly enjoying the blogg and appreciate all the hard work.

Just great Well Caro - what a magnificent adventure you've had down under! (so to speak) Have a great time in US and give my best to BBG please. Go safely. Ricardo
Wild West What a trip you've had! What a fine time meeting up with you in Oz, and weren't Mark, Tania the kids and her family brilliant? We love 'flash-packers' - so much better than our own title, Saga Louts. Enjoy the US and love to Alan and Lucy. xxxx
Oh my God!!!! Who'd have thought it - on the last leg of that wonderful trip. I have been sooo envious and sad too that wasn't able to make it - that flat will never get sold!!!! But hopefully your next triop will be our next trip - the southern tip of south america still beckons - looking forward to seeing you at eaSTER AND HEARING ALL ABOUT AMERICA!! lOVE AND HUGS XXXX
N.Z. The pictures look great - even if it wasn't your best experience in all, you obviously saw some lovely sights. The chopper trip that you describe up the glacier was one of my favourite experiences of my whole world trip - taken first thing in the morning of a beautiful bright clear day. Wonderful!! Here's hoping you enjoy Raratonga. You should get to have some Hangi feasts there.
lots of love Vicky (and Les)
Saga tours memories!!!! Hi darling - well it couldn't all be paradise!!! Was beginning to wonder when you'd hit SAGA land!! Anyway - enjoy what you can, as you say you didn't go half way round the world not to see the sights!! South Island is where my cousin lives - not sure where but let me know how you enjoy as my sis is due to go out there next year to visit - I know John andMilja were knocked out by the scenery - missing you lots - can't wait for Easter ...love and hugs xxP
Flashpackers' dream Well my dear you're certainly packing it in, and in style too, it seems. I think maybe Mango should link up with other "boutique" tour companies in other countries and do a sort of pass-the-parcel with flashpacker holidaymakers like you, who want a bit of style but to connect with reality at the same time. Disappointed to hear that neither Phnom Penh not Angkor Wat made it onto your list of top cities though!!! I guess the Japanese Friendship bridge doesn't quite compare. Doh. Anyway, delighted to hear that you are now positively blase about such things as cable cars, mountains and travelling alone. I seem to remember you were a bit nervous about making it from Hong Kong to KL on your own just a couple of months ago! How quickly things change Whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks???!!! (Oh dear, I'm in trouble now!) All power to you, girl, have a fabulous rest of time down under. I think you'll be inspiring a few of us.....Much love, Anji xxx
Seduction city ..... Not only was I seduced by that beautifuly city and all of eastern australia like you - I took it so far as to try and emigrate - that was back in 1981-84 - but sadly they had used up their quota of advertising Brits and not having relatives out there I missed out - but quite in agreement with the love of the country - it has thebest of europe mingled with the best of americaand lots of the good things nowmissing from the UK - so enjoy!! I still have good friends over there and maybe one day we'll travel back together ..... wouldn't that be a lark - xxP HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL IN BENIRRAMA AND FORNA.
Happy Christmas Hola Caroline,
Well aren't you having the time of your life! Catching up with you on your travels is such fun and so interesting. I'm amazed that you find the time to post so many pictures and you write so well. Well apart from the odd hiccough.
I can understand you feleing a little nostalgic and bereft, missing friends and family at this time of year Caroline, but don't be. It's only one year and you really wouldn't want to be here now, it's horrible. I had hoped to travel northfor Christmas with Andrea, Daniel and David and the little'uns tomorrow, but listening to the wEATHER REPORTS AND LOOKING OUT OF THE WINDOW, I doubt it. Snowing again, lets hope things improve soon otherwise I'll be spending the hols, with two cats a chicken fillett and lots of gin and tonic!
Anyway the wedding last week was fabulous. We had a great time, Andrea looked stunning and we laughed a lot, as well as shedding the odd tear, but that's to be expected.
Have a great Christmas, enjoy the moment and catch up with you soon.
Love
Lesley
Fabulous It all looks absolutely idyllic! You won't be wanting to come home - it will be a bit of a shock in February. I am sure you will have a great time over Christmas - although you are probably missing cooking and entertaining a bit. I always do when I am away, and can't wait to get back into the kitchen when home again!
The time must be going really quickly. Make the most of it - will really look forward to catching up!!
Love from us both.

Hi! The adventure continues... Merry Christmas, have a wonderful time. It is very cold here in Forna, snow on the surrounding mountains and apparently more to come!!! So enjoy all that wonderful sunshine. Lots of love, J xx
Well done Caro I'm very impressed with your bravery re: prop plane Caro. I remember the trip back from Islay, enough said, well done. And, all I want for Christmas is an Aussie ranger - no, Nige will do very nicely xxxx
