Great Entry An inspirational entry, Carolyn. Sounds like you are making the most of the experience. I look forward to hearing about your adventures. I also would not necessarily recommend the Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Italy train -- I once took it out of Istanbul. But you can always say you rode the "Orient Express."
How true... :-) I used to lose my temper seeing UNBELIEVABLE scenes in Thessaloniki's streets myself, until I visited India for a month. After coming back to Greece, I consoled myself remembering how indescribably worse the situation is in India (not a real reason to feel better, I know, but...).
Oh wow!! That is so cool! I can't believe it. If you are in Greece, and I am in France, then there is no reason why we can't see each other. I hope you get that scholarship! What would you be doing this summer? I am so glad you are enjoying yourself there, and I can't wait to read more about it. Miss ya!
Pictures Hi Carolyn, thanks for the beautiful pictures and it is great to hear from you. I can imagine what a wonderful time you are having. I'm happy things are going well for you there. I pray for you often and look forward to seeing more pictures when you get home.
luv ya,
Nancy R.
Lucky you! Dear Carolyn,
I'm so thrilled you are having this privilege of traveling in Greece. Am enjoying hearing of all the sights and neat experiences! Have fun! Love you always--your old teacher--Mrs. D
Love reading and seeing pictures!! Hello my lovely little niece Carolyn,
I am enjoying reading and seeing your adventures come to life. I have to live my future vicariously through others, cause I know I will never travel that far away. So keep the excerpts coming as often as you get the chance.
I love you and pray for you, Uncle Dale
Carolyn-
I'm so glad you're having such a good time! It sounds beautiful there, and pangs of jealousy are hitting me as I look outside at our snow-covered ground.
Can't wait for more stories! :)
hi! Carolyn! I can't believe you are really there! I hope you stay safe with all the rioting going on. I am loving your pictures and everything. Oh, and I am going to France next semester! I just got accepted and we (22 of us grovers) are going to Nantes, 2 hours west of Paris. I just thought I would let you know that I miss you!! I just saw a picture of you, so this is perfect timing. I hop you keep safe, and that you have a wonderful time! thanks for the updates :)
I am seeing through your eyes Dear Carolyn,
Thank you for blogging your adventures. Wish i could be there to enjoy the food and sights with you, notice Aunt Nita puts food first!
Please be safe, but enjoy! All is well in North Carolina. Glen, your grandaddy has had a terrible cold but says he is better. Snow has pounded the northeast, we have had some low temps and high winds.
I love you,
Aunt Nita
Jealous Carolyn, I hope you enjoy Greece. I wish that I could visit there but I can't. Instead, I plan to visit through you and your pictures. Enjoy and God bless you. Take the Lord with you each and every day! Love and miss your smiling face but are glad that you get to see the land which the Lord has given us.

European Architecture I grew up in Tucson, AZ. All of the buildings there are really short. Walking through a European city is an amazing experience what with the buildings being so tall (in comparison) and so beautiful!
