I'm shamed! I can't believe I didn't read this before talking to you today and I never even asked about your birthday!! For shame!!! Happy Birthday, love! I'm glad you were able to find some spot of happiness in the day after all. Maybe we should plan the Red Rocks for your next one ;) I hope the sunshine warmed you up today and you get some green lushness to feast your eyes on before too long!
Hello & Happy.......... Happy Belated Birthday! Maybe we can do the Cowfish thing like last year (at for a cocktail) when you return to the Queen City. Your Grandma Inez is here with us at Weston Woods for a couple of days, I'll let her read your latest entry tomorrow. Your Mom has keep her up to date with other entries. Speaking of that your are a wonderful writer! I admire (& envy) your talent. Stay warm, if that's possible.
Love, hugs n' kisses,
Aunt Sonia & Uncle Dave
Pics Oooh I miss you guys! We are having a blast. Pics won´t be up until I get home unless I start taking more with the ipod... or I figure out to download with crowding someones hard drive. I´ll take some at the winery tomorrow and load them for you.
i thought i had told you about the mustard scam..similar..but this time thay used mayonaise....they use it as a diversion....as you have learned by now.....
Perfect I am so happy to hear you are arriving at this with few plans! Few plans are like more listening, less talking, and will surely lead to experiences much better than you could have planned. Aprovecha y disfruta! xoxo
Signed up and ready to follow! I'm excited for you, I will anxiously await each new tid bit, nugget of information, and awesomely sarcastic/funny story. :-) Good for you for going with the flow too!
comments are fun OK, so I just had time to catch up because I am a bad friend. But I like what I see. And everything about this entry is especially awesome except the fact that you probably felt like shit. Te amo.
Father David - not son David Hi Charlotte - seems life is treating you well in the city so I won't ask you how you are. I just finished reading all your Ghana stories - what an amazing journey you took. Beyond your fluency in Spanish, you also have a gift of story telling. I can't wait for the time you are published. Enjoy this adventure and keep posting. See you in six weeks.
hola So good to hear about all of your adventures. Your writing is fantastic - I can picture exactly what you are describing.
We are thrilled for Barn that he will be leaving the nest on Sunday - I think it is exactly what he needs to get his feet planted and his dignity back. You have had a large influence with that and I thank you. It will keep him occupied for awhile and help take his mind off of his loneliness:):) Stay safe and have a great time. Adios, mi amiga
Dew and Donkeys The dew!!! Even on man-made lakes in West Africa, it's always about the dew! And donkeys??? Real live donkeys? Seems as though this blog was intended for yours truly, had I only known you three days before my birthday 2008.
Full Spiral Well, I fell in love with the Spanish language when my Peruvian teacher told us that boys were unclean because they "tocan el pene" while they pee. But your story is also good.
Welcome! This blog has been my pal since 2008, when I headed to Ghana on a volunteer trip. The entries from that trip are located here (just filter "oldest first") followed by a six-week stint in Mexico for graduate school and then a two-month jaunt around Argentina.
Now follow my travels and travails as a friend and I hop on a plane to Guatemala. Hiking, yoga and hilarity shall ensue!
