Ok, here we go! In less than one week we have almost seamlessly transitioned into our vagabond selves. At this point, feeling lost and disoriented in a new city, town, or mountain road is natural and almost comfortable. Fear not, we are using our brains and following our insticts. Respecting the fact that we are foreigners and depend on a guiding hand has been a constant and necessary focus for us both. We have a pretty good system worked out where I hold most of the maps and do navigating and translating and Michela makes the friends and decisions.
