I am watching you! Hi Clive! I have finally taken a look at some photos and I am suitably impressed!
Thought of you the other night while driving along the Trans Canada Hwy. Five or so tumbleweeds rolled across the road. In the light of the truck headlights looked like ghosts.
The part where you come in is that it reminded me of that show we did in Leithbridge where we went to see the petrogliths in southern Alberta and videotaped tumbleweeds chasing us.
If you have ready access tothe internet then check out a new product I represent in Western Canada called flatscreen arms at www.tvmonitorarms.com
Nice to see the pics and happy trails
Amazing! That was a wonderful blog, and although a little scarey, it brought tears to my eyes. Once again, well done, and you look well and even more handsome!
Take care, as always, and enjoy the festive season coming up!
Love,
Mum.
Real paradise Clive, I really appreciate the words you did/didn't speak to describe this place!! I lived in Vanuatu (Tanna for 4 months) for 18 months. It is an amazing place with amazing people!! I love this site and think you did it justice!!
Great set of photos! Hey!
Thanks for sharing another great set of photos. Bali looks amazing - I love the colours and the food looks delicious! It's always great to hear from you. We are all thinking about you, wishing you well and we can't wait to hear from you again. Take care and safe travels always!!
Cynthia
Aloha! Hi Clive , so glad to check in on you here and find some bloggin'.
So sorry to hear about your Dad. I'm sure he was so proud of you!
I did imagine that your original intent for this travel would change in perspective for you. You still have a long trip ahead, so it will robably change a few more times.
A pleasure to check in on ya!
Keep well!
Christine
Well Done Sailed half way around the world, or as I contest, all the way around the world. As your now on your way home?
Keep the updates coming...

Hola Clive! The videos were great Clive! We had a good view / idea of what the trip is like, and what living on the boat is like. I can't imagine trying to cook on the moving stove (yes - it is everything else that is moving, actually, but still...) - especially after a wobbly pop or two!
Anyway - Jason and I are busy here - less than 5 weeks to the wedding, and still there is so much to do.
Keep posting!
Jess
Friends and Travellers Oh, how touching, and how fleeting Life can be. Atleast your fellow travellers knew the value of going for the Gusto, and that is what I always sat, but not with one word..but it's appropo...
Enjoy Life, and do live your wish, don't worry , just go.
Thanks for your Inspiration, Clive, I hope it gets to more people, and that one day they'll understand that we live for them as well!
Beautiful people and Island Hayley forwarded your pics to myself. I'm glad she did. This Island is a place I have never heard of either.
Also, I saw the gifts they gave you in the pics posted.
I'm curious as to if you left anything with them (besides the grass noises I mean, although it's a preferrable pass time to parents to grass smoking).
I ask this because I don't know much about your travelling and what your motivations are for doing so. Is it fun, philanthropy, for information gathering or a combination thereof? What fuels your passion for travel?
Adventure on...
Wow Clive you are an inspiration to all of us money earning, selfish minded individuals who spend their lives focused on the consumption instead of contribution phylosophies in our world.
Through your blog I have not only learned about your travels, but I have also learned about you and I dare say all of us a little.
As I said at the beginning you are an inspiration and indeed you help many of us see the world just a little bit differently and I am grateful for that.
Sincerely
Norm
Shhhh no one tell Lonely Planet! This is a wonderful and perfect blog, great photos and what a rare find. Pity the google link adverts below are asking to buy real estate there...!
Welcome to the Stinky Feet Project!
Welcome to the ongoing series of four adventures, dubbed the "Stinky Feet Project". Each adventure is a journey into one of the four elements (fire, water, earth, air).
The most recent adventure was "Fire", an 8000-kilometre bicycle journey across Canada from May to August 2011, following a variety of recreational trails and unpaved highways starting at the Pacific Ocean in British Columbia and finishing at the Atlantic Ocean in Nova Scotia.
The Stinky Feet Project is 3/4 done - in 2008-2009, I completed a very wet and wild adventure explorin... full info
