Dude, you have big feet!!!!!! Congrats on a journey complete - as a reader and observer of your adventure, I have learned about the world, our friends within it, and what it takes to sail around it. You have probably heard it a billion times, but there are so many people out there who would love to do what you did, but feel they are unable to, or feel they can't. You allow people to rethink the word "can't" or "unable" , and push us to all live and aspire to our wildest dreams....whether it be reading a classic that you've always wanted to, travelling, meditating more, or just being a better person - your drive and motivation is admirable and courgeous.
So, cheers to your journey and success, we will have a drink to celebrate when you arrive next week.
Now, get your ass home!

I can conclude that such a venture (and adventure) is not in the cards for me - the videos alone had me feeling a little unsettled - I don't think I have sea eyes much less sea legs - so with that said an extra thanks for sharing this journey!

I agree I agree with Bree. I'm Surprised you didn't win either. Next time you will just have to offer them a bigger bribe. Looking good with the facial hair though. I think you should keep it for us poor guys who can't grow anything more than a neck beard. We all know how bad that looks.
You didn't win??????? I'm surprised that you didn't win!!!!!!! It's too bad there no female participants..I'm sure you would have happily judged.
Not much longer now......see you soon!
temple the shot of the women in movement entering the temple is exciting...you could do a whole series in that style...you have really captured some great details of this place....thank you.
You just have to write a book! Wow! I have finally caught up and your descriptions and photography are the "tops!" Absolutely amazing!
I have made a note of your "grub" requests, and I think we can come up with this!!
Looking forward.
Hugs,
Mum.

Wow What an adventure - and what an achievement to have got so close to getting all the way round the world. A great blog - and all the best for crossing the finishing line!
Wow oh and the Pet shop boys Clive, that’s amazing almost home! Enjoy the remainder of your voyage (wow using that word in other contexts won’t sound as true)
And your quote made me think of the Pet Shop Boys song “being boring” that says something very similar.
Welcome to the Stinky Feet Project!
Welcome to the ongoing series of four adventures, dubbed the "Stinky Feet Project". Each adventure is a journey into one of the four elements (fire, water, earth, air).
The most recent adventure was "Fire", an 8000-kilometre bicycle journey across Canada from May to August 2011, following a variety of recreational trails and unpaved highways starting at the Pacific Ocean in British Columbia and finishing at the Atlantic Ocean in Nova Scotia.
The Stinky Feet Project is 3/4 done - in 2008-2009, I completed a very wet and wild adventure explorin... full info
