Pre-adventure Post In one week I will be stepping far away from my comfort zone to experience the excitement East Africa has to offer. Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya for three weeks traveling alone for the majority of the venture. I will be on plane, foot, car, bus, boat and hopefully bicycle. At the moment I'm a graduate student in environmental engineering at the University of Cincinnati working for an NGO known as the Village Life Outreach Project, based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. My primary reason for travel is to asses the water quality of a two wells in northwestern Tanzania in the village of Roche.
