P you have a friend in me for sure. You were the only one still speaking to me after my bathroom difficulties in Dharamsala. I still owe you a bottle of water for "rehydration".
See you in Briz next year!
hindustan zindabad hey I'm in the blog!! It's strange to see myself on your blog as i have been following the B2B's adventures for 8months. I really liked to share this month in india with you, i was a fantastic experience , for me 'la petie campagnarde'!
And now i can say i've got 2 new friends.... I hope to see you in bristol!! bisous xxx popo
Homeward bound Tonight I'll sing my songs again,
I'll play the game and pretend.
But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity
Like emptiness in harmony I need someone to comfort me.
Homeward bound,
I wish I was,
Was laughing out load by myself for far too long when I read your bit about the horse sam!!! Wish I could have been there to just see your face. Brilliant x x x love you lots, charlie
Thank you Dearest lovely boys
Just got your letter, postmarked China: thank you so much. You sounded a little in need of hot baths and shepherd's pie, but yak meat was probably more ...unusual....
Your time at the Tibetan monastery sounded fabulous, but what a disappointment to find a lecherous monk on your hitching trip. What's that saying - 'You can't judge a monk by his robe...'.. or something similar.
The terrain sounds pretty tough - 5 hours isn't so long, but 5 hours of bumps....
You MUST be home quite soon - am back in July, so hope to catch up with you in Bristle
Big hugs
Sarahxxxx
Chengdu? Hi guys. Thanks for your comments on our blog! I'm wondering whether we actually met you in Chengdu at the Opera, asking us about Tibet ... was that you guys? Anyway, safe travels!
what a wonderful trip. guys, i can't believe it. now, as you are travelling, i would like to be on tour as well with you, the legendary bristolians... hehe.
My plan this summer was, to go to the same destinations as you've already been so far. What a coninsidence this would have been if i met you again on the other side of the world...
well, keep on updating us with some news and pics.
take care! marcel
China Changes Funny, since Marco Polo was there not so much has changed but since yer Mum and I were then in 1981 and the Lonely of 96 version it is all so different. Is the Chinese cycle of renewal 500 years long or something? Does look beautiful and colourful now: rainy Xian and misty Yangste Gorges, Chungking in Dickensian light can leave more leaden impressions but Guilin looks fabulous but amazing you are finding the true 1.3bn.
Nee how, boys! Shay shay for all the lovely pics and reminders of China. 'Course we are still reading - its good stuff. We just don't respond every time as its hard to find nice things to say when we are all so ENVIOUS ALL THE TIME. Nuff said. Love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
BONNE ROUTE.
Martine
Wow Hey Guys, Sounds like you are still having an awesome time. I am sat at work in rainy London looking at you pictures and am very jealous! Can't believe you have been away six months!
Keep having lots of fun
Fed up I am fed up of reading about all the things you are doing that I should have done when I was your age. Isn't it about time you students came back home and got a proper job, paid off yer loans, paid some tax and got as bored as the rest of us?
Life is far too short to be enjoying yourself.
PS Have you noticed any global warming out there?
Good luck to you all.
Envy Don't know if I want to read your blogs any more - am green with envy here - living on the edge of all this, but constrained by time/commitments/naked fear. Was the hobo life a bit scary?I wouldn't want to mess with a Chinese policeman. Rural China looks so idyllic, but are people beginning to make rumblings about the wealth gap increasing?
You must have a book between you by now- get writing!!
All love

Great Blog Love your vivid writing and wonderful pictures - you are certainly making the most of it. Keep safe and happy and look forward to the next installment!
This is the first time that I was really jealous about your journey through Sumatra, shame about Maninjou but you definitely made up for it with Aceh as I didn't make it up there.... Such great photos. Hope your cut heals soon Sammy x xx
OZ greetings Sweet photos! I am really looking forward to explore thailand, vietnam and kambodia... but having too much fun in OZ at the time - and the country is so big that it deserves more time than few weeks that I've spent so far. Will definitely ask for insider tips before heading there. Safe travels!Big hug!
Welcome family, friends and fellow bloggers.
Our blog will document our journey through un-chartered areas of the world. Who knows the challenges that await us.. surviving a Clemson thanksgiving football game? Escaping hostage by a fijian tribe? Racking up roadkill in Oz? How will Dunc react after seeing his real family for the first time - the Orangutans of Indonesia? And will the boys save humiliation and not find themselves in a tricky situation with a thai lady boy!
The answers to all these questions lie in the future. We will do our best to update everything with this blog. To all t... full info
