Welcome to Africa! Hi, Susan! Amazing! I enjoy reading all about your trip. The pictures are great! Well done! I am looking forward to further editions.
Thanks! Thanks Susan. I love seeing Africa through your eyes. having traveled the same area many years ago it is nice to see how things have changed in some ways and not in others. Africa is timeless in so many ways. As I have said before, to me, Africa is the most evocative of all the continents, on so many different levels! Thanks for sharing your experiences!!!
Hungry Hippo’s indeed Your reference to the game sure made me smile as I sit on my recliner watching the sun go down with my peppermint tea. Ah the serenity, reading a friends experience of South Luangwa National Park on a Monday afternoon on holidays from work. Pinching myself too 😊 thanks for sharing your journey with us arm chair travellers. Can’t wait for the next edition

My bag is packed Just yesterday I was thinking 🧐 I wonder if Susan has started her blog. I logged into the site and no post. So imagine my delight to receive an email this morning that a blog had been posted. Thanks for sharing your journey. I’ve never done an overland adventure so I will enjoy experiencing one through your eyes, and heart
The Blues Brothers may have stolen your grandfather's line or the reverse..."It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a packet of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses" sounds like something out of the same stable anyway. Good luck!
I remember cake and chopsticks! Is it really that long ago that I shared a room with you? I should have gone to South Africa last year but had to cancel so am looking forward to reading about what I missed. Enjoy your time. Dot x
