The travelblog bar is getting higher Looks like a great trip you're having so far! Some memories in there for us too, although we saw very little sun the whole time we were in Scotland - and no golf courses either. Maybe they are the key to getting sunshine! Great blogs you've done too (before we leave we are going to get some more writing practice in and get the camera serviced. Oh - and get a laptop to take with us. Writing on the phone doesn't really appeal). Keep up the good work
Joy Blogging - what a great way to document the trip. It’s so easy to start confusing places and photos and experiences. As for the sun, we had one local wanting us to migrate here lol
So Many Photos It’s all beautiful but Skye is much bigger than I expected. The few locals we met are so passionate. Juriaan has lived there 10 years and still hasn’t seen it all.
Music Good to hear that you are picking up the occasional music session. A couple of those castles look great. We visited a few but became pretty selective after a while. Missed the golf clubs too. Keep enjoying.
Heh heh We are also now becoming more selective. Three in one day was a push. The musicians were so much fun! There was a guy who broke out with an accompanied ditty every so often. His voice was so strong I think the whole pub heard it, upstairs and downstairs.
Trying to be perfect lol I tried to fix some grammatical errors. Then it looked there were two versions so I deleted one. Next morning, no Edinburgh aaaghh!!
Had a great day at Royal Aberdeen. Teed off at 7:45. Lunch (jacket & tie) at 1pm. So lovely. Resting before going on our afternoon walk ??
Looks fantastic - we had great weather when we were in Scotland - might have taken it with us! No surprise that the sword is taller than me, but it looks to be about your height! Tough to wield. Enjoy your holiday.
Doing well Doing well on the blog Susie! Gear photos. We heard about your “slight hiccough” in getting to Scotland ??. Glad all is well and you are enjoying your trip. Say hi to Rod! Xx
