Well today was a very long day- starting at 4AM! We took the Eurostar from London to Paris, and actually managed to make it there without getting totally lost. I'm really glad that some of my high school French came back to me, because I was able to successfully get us through Paris to the Eiffel Tower! It was amazing! Much taller than I thought. We took the lift up to the second floor (the very top was closed due to weather), and the view was so cool! Definitely my favorite site so far! From there we went down the Champs Elysee and had lunch at a Cafe. Then we walked to the Arc de Triomphe and got to climb to the top. Well we finally made it to London after our plane being delayed for 3 hours. When we arrived in the city by way of the Gatwick express train, we both decided we were too tired to walk around, so we took a big bus tour on London. It took us around the main sites in town and had a nice commentary that told some English history. After that we went to the Tower of London and walked around inside. We saw the crown jewels and the armory. After that we headed on a riverboat cruise down the Thames River. It was really a cool view, but we soon discovered that London has the worst weather ever!
