Your trip to the DMV Hi Rebekah -- I just attempted to write my response to your trip to the DMV. Somehow, my remarks disappeared from the screen! I don't know if I "sent" it prematurely, or if it is lost. I really enjoyed your remarks and the pictures which stirred up a lot of emotion for me as I had been in the service at the time the DMV was being established. I believe that was in 1952.
I don't have time to reconstruct my message right now, however I'll e-mail you later. Thanks for the blog. I almost feel as if I took that tour with you! Love, Grandma

WOW!! Bekah - I am so thrilled to see your blog!!!! It continues to amaze me your talent on photo taking and writing. I am so proud of you. Here is the email of the person from the bank I told you about: mrlzf@mtsu.edu
I think my favorite flower you presented was the magnolia. I also like how you capture the heart of the natives regaring their "blooming" season. I have to say I think I like their way of expressing themselves rather than those here in Tenessee. I am still recovering from the strip - oh, I mean the college students dancing. Love you, Mom
incredible Rebekah, pretty sure you have captured moments that very very few people in the world will ever have the privilege to experience. Thank you so much for sharing. I have been continually impressed and excited to see where your journey in Korea leads you next.
crazy! it's crazy thinking you are around the world at this very moment....i love you and hope you're storing up piles of memorable moments to share when you get back. i want to hear every one of them! ;) loveyou, kid!!!!

Your blog is amazing. I was going to write on your last blog and tell you that you were a slacker because you hadn't posted in a while, but I guess you made up for it with today's book.
You keep partying with the diplomats. See ya soon, lover.

By temperament, I am a traveler. I crave the freedom to roam, immersion into unfamiliar cultures, and spending my time working directly with people. In 2007 I started a one year adventure in Alaska that turned into five years in a blink of an eye. Alaska took me by surprise. I fell in love with the summers of hiking mountains, exploring the backcountry, and canoeing in open lakes. I equally fell for the winters of skate skiing across city trails, ice skating on frozen lakes, and camping at 10 degrees. Even work was exciting as I got to visit over 15 rural communities around the state. But afte... full info
