Good to hear from you! Hi Rebecca.......sounds like you are having an awesome time!!!!!!!!! I know that Michael can't wait to go to the U.K. in January....I believe that their semester starts later then @ Brock; so it will be a great opportunity for him to travel. Take care and be safe always!
Sorry for the delay in responding! Rebecca, I nearly pee'd myself laughing when I read the thing with the spider...It was NOT because you were terrified I found so funny, but just that I could picture that high pitch-deafening scream!!! If I was there I would of killed the thing for you (that's what friends are for! besides I've been findng a few daddy long legs around my place, not too impressed needless to say but I'm the exterminator around here lol) I'm going to email you a more personalized email because tons have changes have occured since we last 'talked'. I'm back at school finally the three-week strike ended Monday, March 27 2006. So I was back in classes the following Tuesday. Anyways, I will get to that email. Thanks for keeping me updated on your trip!
Its warm on the beach here too. Rebecca
Enjoy reading your updates, I only wish I could see the look on Cindy's face when she reads some of them for the first time.
We just got back from Florida, we did our normal March Break trip and it was 28 on he beach. It wasn't as much fun as when you and your family where there, but we managed.
It sounds like you're haveing a great time, and settling in well. Before we know it, you'll be wresting crocodiles too!
Have fun, and don't do anything I wouldn't do (or at least have done when I was your age).
PS Now that were home reality has hit, let's just say its not 28 on the beach here.
Mark and Daphne
Hey Amanda! I actually ran into Shaun last night at the Roundhouse!!! He asked about you and went on to say what an awesome girl you are. He also told me how afraid he is of the Huntsmans! The first Aussie to admit it! And yes, the stairs can be a pain, and so can all the hills in Sydney! I shall have a great butt when I get back to Canada!
Sounds Amazing!! Hello Becca Darling! It sounds like you are having an amazing time and the campus sounds great! I loved your e-mail and will get back to you very soon :) Hope classes are going well and Miss you lots!
congrats on negotiating the housing weirdness!! hey rebecca! how ya goin? so glad to hear you guys managed to find a place ok... i warned you how hard it would be, but it always comes as a bit of a shocker (you'd think they'd help you out a bit more, eh?) sounds like a perfect location though... and the partly furnished thing is definitely a plus! so you met the local fauna already, eh? lol!! i nearly shat myself the first time i saw a huntsman, so i DEFINITELY feel your pain! just wait until you find a redback hanging out at a busstop though... watch for em, they hang out under the metal seats. (oh and by the way, even my super-aussie roommate shauno was absolutely terrified of huntsmans, so it's not just us wimpy canadians!) well i hope everything continues to work out for ya, and that you don't get sick of the millions of stairs on campus for a while yet! say hi to the ocean for me, i miss it desperately!!!
Wow, wow, wow! Becca, I just looked at all your pics and caught up on all your adventures! Wow, surfing, sailing, snorkling, sky diving!!!, camping, eating Kangaroo, meeting people from all over the world! You've been having the trip of a lifetime! So glad to hear you're having such an awesome time! Your pics are beautiful, and I've really enjoyed reading your rich descriptions of everything. Good luck on your first day of classes tomorrow and thanks for the e-mail! Miss ya tonnes, chat with ya soon! Love Erica xoxo
oops, still need a password Sorry, this isn't right, so go back to what I said in the earlier post. Sorry for the confusion, hope everyone can figure out how to view the pics!
Glad to know I'm missed, Ian Hey Ian! It's nice to hear that I am missed. I heard Sean made head Tech! Here I'll be taking equivalents to CISC 332, 365 and MBIO 318. Gonna miss all the peer support that I'm used to. Good luck with the rest of midterms
Wow Well Becca, this is all becoming just too much for me to handle. I can't believe you went sky diving! You're fully nuts. Biomed sounds like hell (well, let's face it.. it pretty much is) compared to what you're up to. What courses do you get to take this semester? Hope orientation goes smoothly! We still miss you!
Cheers,
Ian
Always happy to impress Jasmine!I still can't believe I jumped out of a plane myself. Me, the girl who was afraid of the dark and the racoons when we went camping together! I really miss you too and thought of you while camping in Fraser Island. I felt like you, sleeping without a pillow and going to the washroom in the woods ( not that you do that all the time)lol. You and Marion would have been in your elements! Lylas, Beck
Travelling is definitely in my blood Aunt Judy I must say, I got my passion for travel from you Aunt Judy. Classes start in less than two weeks and I'm getting pretty excited for them too. Studying on the beach is going to be nice! Love you lots, Rebecca
Wish you were here with us too Ash! Ashley! You and I will definately go travelling together again! Everytime I eat gelato here I think of you. Also, twice I've heard Tom Jones' 'Sex Bomb' and instantly I picture you dancing at the Balle Du Pompier! Can't wait to get home and plan an adventure with you! Love you and miss you, Becca
A sort of crocodile dun dee time! Rebecca,
It was a big step, from going topless in Nice to jumping out of a plane in Australia, in testing your limits. You have a truly adventurist spirit. I hope you can get into your studies, but knowing you it won't be too hard.
Any way, we miss you. Keep safe.
Those poor Kangaroo's!! Glad you're enjoying all the scenery, the plane jumping, the drinking, the sun,.... and the Kangaroo!! hahaha!! Beck, I always knew you were gutsy.... but I must say, I am so impressed that you went sky diving! So impressed!!! I miss ya Beck!! I can't wait to hear all these stories again in person!! Love ya!
WOW!! Sooo proud! Well Becca, i gotta say, when we were travelling through France together, I always thought you were the most gutsy one....but never in my wildest dreams had i imagined you jumping out of a bloody plane! Are you NUTS?? haha..i wish i could have been there.
I have to say that reading all these blogs is making me feel so sad and left out...i want to be there with you and Kristen sooooooo much! ANd it's so wierd that my two best friends from Queen's are having this amazing time WITHOUT MEEEEE!!! haah..ah well...i'll have my turn soon enough! When you get back, we're planning our next adventure ASAP!
Anyway, i'm so glad you're having a great time and i miss you soooooooo much!
Lots of love,
Ashley
Had no idea what a dingo was until... Sounds like you are having an amazing time! Until your last blog I had no idea what a dingo was and I also looked it up like Victoria and totally laughed just imagining you screaming! :) I would be too. I'm so jealous of the ice cream description and no it was not excessive...me whose on a diet can only dream of having ice cream like that so the description was amazing haha Hope the orientation for school goes well--Miss you! :)
UR HOT hey beccs! Those stars sound cool.. remember that since ur in the opposite hemisphere you have totally new contellations! Check them out for me and enjoy.

I googled to see a dingo. Hey Rebecca, I looked up dingos on the net and man those things are scary!!! You are brave to be camping with them all around.
Really does sound like Survivor!! BUT with food!! Hey Rebecca, sounds absolutely amazing (except for the dingos, I don't even know what those are?) Keep on filling me in on your adventures have fun and play safe.
OMG I AM SO JEALOUS! WHY AM I NOT WITH YOU?? heeeeeeeeey Becca! Sorry I haven't written any comments before this, but I lost the blog address until Kristen sent it to me again today. Anyway, it sounds like you are having the time of your life and I am soooooooo upset that i'm not there with you, seeing as how I was on your last worldly adventure (France)! I've decided that I MUST get to Australia one of these days...all of your postings have inspired me so much! I have also decided that we need to go back to Europe together!!! You can't say no - i'm already planning...how does summer after we graduate sound? Good? GOOD! I'm planning our route now! heheheh
Anyway, I have to get back to more boring life now...give Kristen lots of hugs for me. I miss you guys so much - Queen's is not the same without you!
Love you both,
Ashley xoxoxo
Victoria! Hey Victoria! I can't believe how quickly time has passed here. But no worries, when the time comes, I'll be looking forward to get back home. And I promise I'll get pics up as soon as I get settled and begin school, then I'll have lots more time and hopefully won't be charged to use the computers. Miss you!
Jasmine! Hey Cuz! I'm glad you're enjoying the journals. I really miss you too and thought about you lots on the camping trip we just got back from...you would have loved it!
You are quite the traveller!! Hey Rebecca, I can't believe all that you have done in such a short period of time. Sounds like tons of fun and I'm glad you are having an amazing time. I guess we should be worried that you may not want to come back. I wish there were more photos posted so I can have more insight of your journey. Well, I can't wait to hear more about it. Have fun!!!
After many, many months of dreaming and planning, Kristen and I are going to Australia! With a pit stop in England, we'll travel up Australia's East Coast together and then part ways mid February to commence study at our respective universities. Hope you enjoy keeping up with us and our journeys. xoxo... full info
