Lovely! Great pictures!! Our daughter lived for 3 years in Alamosa about 10 years ago, so we visited the area frequently and went several times to the Sand Dunes (actually before they became a national park). What a remarkable area.

When my husband, Phil, and I decided to schedule a driving trip to Yosemite for a series of day hikes, I thought we should also arrange a visit and hike with a friend who lives north of Santa Fe. Our Yosemite visit would be mid-September, but our friend wasn't available until the end of October.
