Response to 9/11 Journal I agree completely with what you said about not wanting to remember 9/11. I never thought about in that perspective. Others who\\\'ve actually experienced it probably feel the exact same way. No one wants to be reminded of the death of a loved one, especially not in that circumstance.
Great job on your two blogs I enjoyed the 9/11 blog more but both were pretty good. I like how you connected with the articles and that you included your opinion of what you thought of Jay Z fans buying the CD during the 9/11 air plane crash. I agree with your answers on both blogs because I feel the same way about how people should treat 9/11 with more respect and how it is Better that U.S troops stayed to watch over the Afghans.
comment on blog I like reading you blogs because there interesting and not just directly answer the questions right away. I never been out of the united states but what I read from your blog, I can't believe people have a bad view of the U.S. It's understandable that not all afghans understood what was happening on 9/11 but I glad that they felt more safe with the soldiers there.plus, it was a benefit for the U.S too so that we can make sure the event of 9/11 won't happen again.
Awesome connection with Jay Z CD Release and 9/11 I really like how you anwered the questions and connected with the article. I would feel horrible too if I made my mom work in the twin towers that day for some pair of shoes.plus, I agree with you on being disappointed with those Jay Z fans that went to go buy a CD the day of 9/11. well great blog and keep it up.

Great job on explaining everything. While reading your first blog entry it kept me interested. It also helped me to think that maybe we should worry about our world. We should I care about the negative things going on around us and not always think of ourselves. Keep up the detailed and good work.(:
Journal comment #1 Malik,
Reading your blog entry kept me entertained. You did a great job with staying on topic and explaining everything. It made me think of how we should maybe think of the negative things that surround us instead of always focusing on ourself. Keep up the thoughtful work.(:
Welcome! I am a senior at a high school in Chicago called UIC College Prep. I will be enrolling in college in the Fall of 2012. I traveled out of the country for the first time my summer before senior year; I spent a month studying abroad in Panama. After traveling to Panama I realized how important it is to study World History. World History is important because we all need to know what is going on around the world rather than just focusing on issues impacting places near by. Being aware of issues affecting different parts of the world will of course broaden our minds, but it will also show t... full info
