It was everything we've thought this trip was going to be. All my preconceived notions - positive ones might I add - were confirmed. Since this entry is a couple of months tardy, I will just give you the highlights and my impressions in bullet form. - Travel dates: May and June 2008 - Countried visited: England, Wales, Southern Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland - This is the land where children's story's come from. Such as Little Miss Moffet, Mary had a little Lamb, Ring around the rosies. - Sheeps were everywhere. I think we seen more sheep than people - The exchange rate were about $1.30 per pound - We enjoyed London and Edinburgh the best - I enjoyed warm beer - Fish and chips were about $30 or 17 Euros in Dublin - yikes ... read more
