Dipping into the waters The exact place where the two rivers meet - which you can see in this photo - is where you can dip into the sacred waters. There is a platform below the building you can see there (which is an elementary school) that serves as a jumping - or perhaps a gingerly stepping - off point. You hold onto a chain which keeps you from being swept away by the very strong current. Try it...but be fully dressed like the locals.
Best Place This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone.

Xia thanks and the info on Phi Phi I recommend staying in Phi Phi if you are with some cool persons along with and weather is nice. But Phi Phi is a paradise you would love to live for as many days. Please remember Phi Phi is a very small island and accomodation is bit expensive and they have some electricity problem and their supplies comes from Phuket or other beach towns so it is a bit expensive too. Well I went through an agent. The prices vary from 800 to 2000 bahts. I got the options to select from and my Russian girl friend recommended so I took that there. There are many agents offering you trips. Ferries leave from Phuket and Krabi daily (from Krabi two ferries a day 9:00 am and 14:30PM and from Phuket at 9:00 am, 11:00, and 14:30pm several times a day ( 11:00 during high season only) or on the dock, from tourist offices, most local guesthouses and hotels.Tickets prices: 600 baht one-way/1000 baht round trip when bought at the Phuket pier. I heard it is possible to get 300-350 baht one-way tickets as part of a deal with some guest house stay.
Interesting! Hi Arnab:
Interesting...really interesting porey bhalo legeche
BTW did you coordinated with any of the tour agent for this trip to Phi Phi?
How much do they charge per pax?
In some of the blog I found ppl recomanded to stay few days in Phi Phi island what would be ur recommandation? Is it worth taking a day trip there?
Rgds,
Xia

chopsticks Sikkimese food is an interest mix of Nepali, Bhutia, Tibetan, Lepcha community...and you have lot of momos and thukpas(noodle soup) out there...so in a way they use forks and spoons these days..but traditional Tibet is eaten with chopsticks...so you get the option of having them either way..and i found they eat using fork in majority and few with chinese chopsticks
sendyourwritings@yahoo.com I have seen http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/India/Sikkim/blog-235627.html .
In an image I have seen in your Darjeeling Sikkim trip you are holding a momo with a pair of chopsticks.
Is the chopsticks traditionally used in the native Sikkimi culture?
