BRUSSELS: Chocolate shops, lace shops, beer, beer, everywhere beer..... DAY 1: Grand Place _ absolutely awe-inspiring. Tourists everywhere just taking photos and wandering around. Pricey shops selling lace, tapestries and choccy around the edges, as well as heaps of eateries: Galeries St Hubert - lovely shopping archade containing a mix of shops and eateries. Small group of young boys singing there little hearts out for cash captured on video Rue des Butchers _ Leading off the archade are narrow cobbelstoned streets filled with touristy eateries, especially offering seafood specialties including the mainstay "moules" (mussels) Brussels Catherdral _ was not even mentioned in the Lonely Planet but worth a look DAY 2: Sleeping, resting sore feet, enjoying my hotel's buffet breaky, getting blogs up to date BRUGES: A booked a dodgy hotel on the internet.
