Lovely Lijiang!
We really liked Lijiang as well, there was just something about those lovely little cobbled winding streets! The food was good there, we never made it to Baisha or the Black Dragon pool which is a shame as your photos from there are great. Hope you enjoyed Tiger Leaping Gorge!

China can be overwhelming...
but you'll adapt. I was surprised how much I could communicate with sign language. Your itinerary sounds great, so am looking forward to every blog.

Ano w koncu sie udalo wyjechac :) Teraz jestem w Chinach, w Lijiang, spotkalam dzisiaj doktora Ho i od razu mi sie przypomnial wasz blog! :) Na facebooku was znajde dopiero jak wyjade z Chin niestety... Wy juz w domu? Ale za to jaka mieliscie wyprawe, super blogi i niesamowite zdjecia! Naprawde wspaniala przygoda! Nicc tylko czekam na kolejne wasze blogi! :) Pozdrawiam serdecznie! Buzka! :)

We agree with you that it is best not to keep this going. But, it is such a hard decision. You've proven those boots are made for hiking.

It sure is very hard to see the kids like this... and as for the boots, they are on the way back home now, they did the job, but just can't really look at them anymore at this stage! ;) Thanks!

Fantastic views of the mountains. That's what amazing for me - the combination of the struggle and still ability to see a beauty. also, i agree, it was worth it, to discover the will and strength you have. But for me the mountains is just beauty where my soul flies off, so i better stick to the pics and easier hikes as not sure after such vivid description i am ready to find my limits..

I love to travel... and so far I have been lucky enough to visit a few of the incredible parts of this world... So much more to do and see still though... the list seems to have no end... Well... One place at the time... My big Asian adventure of 2013 finished with an unexpected move across the globe... A husband and two kids later I'm still dreaming of long-term travel...
