Please-a Mister Columbus Turn-a the ship around. Please I only want to feel my two feet on the ground. Why you tell-a Isabella that-a the world is round. Please-a Mister Columbus, turn-a the ship around...I'm glad things are going better with Filo. Hope you are feeling better by now. Hope you make some plans next weekend. You are there to see things and have new experiences, not to settle into a tiny routine and follow it because its comfortable...Go find the river, or make plans to meet up with some of your friends from Pueblo Ingles, or go on a collegio-sponsored trip. Any dance classes happening? Try to eat healthy while you're sick. I wish I could fly over to take care of you.
Lots of love, your mama-hen
Psychology Hello Anna, I think you have a talent for figuring people out - I think Filo will probably miss you the most when you are all gone. As far as junk food goes, just talk yourself into regarding apples and pears as junk. I think it sounds like you will either walk or dance off your extra calories anyway. Study hard this week! Love, Ann
Howdy Hi Anna. The food sounds gross. And I think Filo is right that melting cheese on bread in a microwave is a waste of energy because it ruins the bread! Turns it to rubber!
Anyway, sounds like life is interesting there. All's well here on the farm. Sam and Andy will probably be walking by the time you get home.
Leonardo's Hi Anna, I applaud your effort to catch up - not an easy task when you are in the middle of an adventure. I am having fun reading your blog, though, just so ya know.
Book I love 'A Prayer for Owen Meany'! Have you gotten to the finger part yet? I think you need a GPS device - but at least you are getting your exercise!
nice to catch up with you! Hi Anna! I finally found your blog....thanks for your great stories! sounds like you've had some great adventures so far!! all is well here..Sam and I leave for Kentucky tomorrow for dance/music week..stay safe, love, kappy
viva espana Hi Anna,
So great to be catching up on some of what you're writing. What an amazing thing to be in Spain for their championship game! Sounds like you're getting a full dose of Spanish hooplah!
Que te diviertes mucho!
xx,
gayle
Vive Espana! Wow Anna,
How cool that you got to be toured around Madrid by Spanish guys...And got to see the game in the Plaza Major and watch everyone go crazy! Sounds like you won't really be in much of a host family -- more like a boarding house. Anyhow, it all sounds wonderful. How are classes?
Love you
Mom
¡Vive España! Hi Anna, I'm glad Spain won - I wonder what it would have been like if they lost? Luckily with your red hair you don't look like you are from the Netherlands - but not to worry since Spain won - woo hoo! Say Guten Tag to Lisa Marie for me. Love, Ann
To my glorious daughter Anna:
You are doing so well. However your inability to find shampoo in a foriegn city is not a good sign for when you have to find the enemy once you get into the army.
Papa
Woohoo, Anna's a cool traveler girl You are amazing --making your way around in a big city all by yourself. Don't be shy about the Spanish -- think how cool it is when non-English speakers talk to you in English in the States. And you'll learn so much faster if you just do it!
Wren's off to Ecuador today and I managed to take her off to the wrong airport! She's gotten a different connecting flight to her flight to Quito so its all good. Whew!
We miss you. Keep writing when you can.

I am spending the summer in France and Spain. 1 Week in France with my Grandma. Then 1 week in Southern Spain in a camp called Pueblo Ingles where native english speakers speak English to Spainards who are learning English. Then 2 days in Madrid in a Youth Hostel called Hostel One Centro. Then off to Salamanca to stay with a woman to learn Spanish at the University. I will be rooming with another person my age who doesn´t speak English. That´s for four weeks, then off to France again to take a Lindy Hop camp (Studio Hop) for 1 week. Then HOME!!! ... full info
