Drink Rice Wine with Us Fun blog. We figured you would just go ahead and eat the little baby birds. Perhaps that's what happened to all the disappearing snails. Do you really remember what you ate?
Have fun! (and perhaps a little less Rice Wine)
Hello from Grandma and Mary and Rick!! Hi, Ann. Hope all is well with you and Viet Nam! Ruth is here with Rick and me for Thanksgiving week. We are reading your journal, starting at the beginning. Each day we will read a few days of your blog! It is very interesting. Thank you for your postcard. Sounds like you are having a great experience. We found your website with some help from your pop, just the other day. Much love and hugs to you for Thanksgiving and always! Mary, Ruth and Rick
:) thanks! I do miss TexMex a lot! but we actually managed to have some fake TexMex in Cambodia. I'll be so glad to have the real stuff when I'm back in TEXAS! and I definitely will also miss Vietnamese food (most of it, at least!)
good to know you like Can Tho Chao Ann,
it's me, Angela ;) good to know you like Can Tho. You can try veg food @ the place where you met us this afternoon. That place is good and there are many choices for ya.
I understand what you talked about what they call eco-tourism orchard or such a thing.
I like the way you describe how they make rice paper - which mainly used to make dry rice noodle. A real rice paper is thinner and really hard to use a big rolling pin to roll and place it on a bamboo mat.
Anyway, i like your blog and others' ones. Keep writing ;)
