Great summer!!!!
Amy I am just wowed by your kids...big and not so big and by their projects and most of all by your enthusiasm. Great summer and I hope you were able to get some good traveling in on the side. I spent about 12 or 13 summers in peru or guatemala or mexico or around ...working with some students...(science is my gig) or working with some archeological projects and traveling and learning. I now appreciate the opportunities I had so much. Our Latin children neighbors are awesome...and so is their culture. Giving them the support to express that is powerful. I am back in Hawaii after a month in Minn and a wonderful weekend with my birthson Paul and his family in Orlando. I have loved traveling with you. So has Paul. Happy new school year. Love jacquelyn

Amy...have a great time traveling. Sounds like a fun-filled adventure. Yes you are wise...one day at a time....I guess it is the local buses you speak of. It will be wonderful. I do not know Chile and I dont know the other countries you will travel in...but I do know Peru and Bolivia a little and I vividly remember the buses and all the great times. travel safe. j

Amy, I am so glad that you are able to have such a great time in Chile. I am very sorry for not keeping in better contact with you over the years, but I guess that right now we have something in common. Remember all of your brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. We are all holding each other up!

adventures to the max...
enjoy!!!! I know that sounds wierd...but your positivness is showing through in your blog as is your concern for friends family and 'art classes' in Chile. Hang in there Amy. 'Education' can be had on a lot of levels and I think we all 'back home' are learning a lot about how easy it is to live and learn in this country and not so easy in others. This is good...and thank you. love and take care from the guillaumes
