Great summer!!!! Amy I am just wowed by your kids...big and not so big and by their projects and most of all by your enthusiasm. Great summer and I hope you were able to get some good traveling in on the side. I spent about 12 or 13 summers in peru or guatemala or mexico or around ...working with some students...(science is my gig) or working with some archeological projects and traveling and learning. I now appreciate the opportunities I had so much. Our Latin children neighbors are awesome...and so is their culture. Giving them the support to express that is powerful. I am back in Hawaii after a month in Minn and a wonderful weekend with my birthson Paul and his family in Orlando. I have loved traveling with you. So has Paul. Happy new school year. Love jacquelyn

RE-DONK-U-LOUS Amy, that looks like an awesome trip! I must admit...I'm pretty jealous right here. I'm rotting away at my computer and you're out there seeing the world :-). I need to get rich so I can retire and just follow you around for a few months...
ANDDDDDD Amy...have a great time traveling. Sounds like a fun-filled adventure. Yes you are wise...one day at a time....I guess it is the local buses you speak of. It will be wonderful. I do not know Chile and I dont know the other countries you will travel in...but I do know Peru and Bolivia a little and I vividly remember the buses and all the great times.
travel safe. j
nice The testimony to your talents and your ability to reach out to the community (and a testimony to their talents as well) is all in the pictures. Thanks amy...next year????
Great fun you're having! Amy, I don't think you can have too much more fun....stay safe on all those bus rides and it's great to see and read about your life! Aunt Jan
:) Yeah Ames! I wish you were on the news here...all we have is jon and kate seper8 on tv...you would be a much better story. I can't wait to hear how your classes go, and I think that planning for 7 but starting at 9 sounds pretty chilean to me XD.
PS...since when do you get up at 4 in the am?
green soup???? Hola amy,
right on. I love to hear about the children. You obviously are a real light in the lives of these people. That we all could make such a difference in life--it would be my wish. Thanks for the updatesl, the pics and the lessons in love. jacquelyn
Amy, I am so glad that you are able to have such a great time in Chile. I am very sorry for not keeping in better contact with you over the years, but I guess that right now we have something in common. Remember all of your brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. We are all holding each other up!
adventures to the max... enjoy!!!! I know that sounds wierd...but your positivness is showing through in your blog as is your concern for friends family and 'art classes' in Chile. Hang in there Amy. 'Education' can be had on a lot of levels and I think we all 'back home' are learning a lot about how easy it is to live and learn in this country and not so easy in others. This is good...and thank you. love and take care from the guillaumes
have fun! i'm already excited to read these updates! :) i'll also be sending weekly updates from tokyo this summer, if you would like added to my e-mail list just let me know! i cannot wait to read more of your adventures! have a safe and blessed time, know you're in my thoughts and prayers!
YEAH!! I'm so excited to hear about your adventures and all of your t-shirt stories while you are there! Take care Ames and I can't wait to skype you and hear all about it!! Luv you NAFTA :)
I'm currently traveling my way through college trying to figure out just what I want to do with my life and where. I have a passion for art and spanish culture, but I won't be a bit surprised if new passions find me along the way in life.... full info
