What an adventure - what a journey - how wonderful - and how delightful that you met some good people on your last night in Tokyo.
Hope the jetlag and homecoming don't diminish the pleasure of these encounters.
There will be more xx
Burgers n beer It's nice to know you can rely on a burger wherever you are in the world, and that it doesn't have to be from McD or Burgerking... I'm glad that wind dropped; I've staggered with you before! Shame about the sea kayaking. Guess that'll have to go on the list of things to do at home. Dang! :)
Brave or what! Ali, this makes me feel breathless just to read it. What a fantastic adventure! The only thing missing from your descrition is how you managed to keep the box of Cadbury's Milk Tray dry in order to calmly produce it at the end of the journey. Love J
Magical places Dear Ali, Your description of your magical place is great (have you ever thought of being a travel writer?) - reading it I felt as though I was there, hearing the cascading water and then soaking up the silence of the clearing. Looking forward to your next installment. Love Jane
Salmon Probably not the forum to bore everyone with my observations on tanked fish... I'm sure they were fine though. I will ask Juan in the office about his approach to narrating his coach journies for his passengers. If I can drag him off his sunbed.
Hey Ali,
Loved your New Zealand entry. It reminded me of my time there. My blog is looking for photos to post. If you have time check us out at:
