A great blog Hello Alice,
I enjoy reading your blogs a lot. I’ve visited Bali many times and it’s good to hear about other parts of Indonesia too. I agree that there’s a lot of poverty in Indonesia, but I disagree that the solution should come from abroad only. I think Indonesia has this many resources, be it man power or natural resources, that I don’t think the more than 230 million Indonesian should be relying on 20 million Australians. The Indonesians should help themselves. There are this many talented people in Indonesia, that if they get a decent government, they can solve their problems themselves. It just takes time, and a change of attitude.
you should get a big clump of rice and tie it too a string (instead of money) to lure Didik away. no headaches/no Didik :D sounds awesome maniac. pictures? F.D xoxo
Hi Al
What a hoot. When it rains it pours.
Yes get a sassage and do some spinal twists in the morning before your cold shower or if hot shower after it.
Looking forward to more news

I'll be honest, indo sounds really crap and boring and you should just come home to your really awesome, exciting best friend who is lonely and sad without you. I say, you've tried it, had an experience, spent a few dollars, now pack your things and come the eff home!

Haha!
Alice you're so funny. I dont think you needed to include you have a girl crush...each to their own.
Hope your having a great time!
speak soon xox
ideas Al, why not one segment on living with koalas in the backyard? With Harry getting the footage. Cliche, yes, but big cute factor for anyone not living daily with these critters.
What about one on getting driving licences in Oz - the rite of passage, difficulty etc - sounds very different to what Indonesians experience...
programme ideas hey Al, what about a programme about student life in Australia. You would need some helpers feeding you footage by email. You tell them what you want.
I am travelling around Indonesia for about 3 months, including working at a local tv station in Yogyakarta as a business internship. I hope to improve my Bahasa and see as much as i can!
the tv station's website is: http://www.jogjatv.com/... full info
