They are actually mentioned in the Lonely Planet although I didn´t know that at the time! I suspect that you may get a better price if you rock up to their office in Cuzco and pay in cash. They knocked off about 30 dollars each for us. And as we booked at about 9 hours before the trip, availability doesn´t seem to be a problem!! The aborted tour was with Andean Life. To be fair, it was probably a genuine balls up, we just went on the Inca Trail with them and it was a fantastic trip. Very well organised. I´ll post a blog about it soon...
