Question I am not seeing any current blogs on Guyana or Trinidad. Did you book your flight from Guyana to Trinidad before leaving home or after you arrived in Guyana. How did you find a tour guide for these countries. My husband and I want to go in May 2022. Thanks for any help you can give me. Everette
Hi Aley & Ron: We met at dinner on the Celestyl. We hope you enjoyed the sights and sounds of Cuba as much as we did. Your incredible travels are an inspiration.
David , Anne & Sabrina from Toronto
Hi David, Ann and Sabrina, thank you for your comment, we also both really enjoyed the Cuba and the cruise. It has taken us six days to reach family in Houston due to the hurricane, glad to be here with them now. Cheers Alex and Ron
We loved Santorini too- we spent a week in an amazing house built into the cliff in Oia - and climbed all over the remains of the volcano in the centre of the caldera - It is a magical place!
I'm jealous! Loving the tales of your trip. The photos are incredible! You look so warm. It's 7 degrees in McKinnon, but feels like 5! Brrrrrr!!! Keep on enjoying and making me jealous!

I want to be in your suitcase It looks absolutely gorgeous - love the view from your hotel. Pretending I'm with you instead of in cold and wet Stockport. xx

Looks like you are having a great time. We have been talking about you and was going to ring to catch up for dinner. A bit far for us to come though. Maybe when you get back.
I look forward to reading through your blog. My short read tells me you have dancing. Sounds great. Have fun, stay safe and see you when you get back. Liz and Calum

what a small world Hi, what coincidence we could have met at Reids for a drink. The same as the people you spoke to we also made our own way there as it was about half the price of the ships tour. All the afternoon QE tours were cancelled so we were lucky to make it to Reids, although without a good taxi driver willing to go through the floods we would have never got there. Ron said he would have carried me through the floods to get there, it was one of the highlights of our cruise, if you ever get back to Madeira you should try to get there. We arrived home Sunday night, back at work now and dreaming of our next trip. Alex and Ron xx
