Picture #24 It's great to see you guys breathing in the history of Boston and also seeing some Van Gogh's and such. AG, way to be impromptu on your running date and finding the way home LOL. Just wanted to mention picture #24, that's why you guys are so great, you make friends around you no matter where you are, just remember us when you get back! Hoping for more adventures on the home stretch.
Poutine! Nice bike AG, you're looking chic as usual, Dale, keep up the great photography work. You guys look like you're having so much fun, keep living it up!!!!
So I guess deer burgers are out of the question? Glad u guys are safe and sound. I'm surprised Dale didn't make a wrap with the deer meat.. lol.. And I can definitely guess what was Alana's reaction when seeing the poor deer. But at least it didn't die, so it's all good. My parents went to school in Thunder Bay, so it's awesome seeing what you guys explored. Have fun in Toronto, it's a beautiful city, and probably less deer meat, so you should be good!! Cheers!!
Enjoyed your blog write up. This is the first blog I've read. I'll continue to look for future entries. You heartfelt words about your home and mon echo how I feel. I haven't been to your home yet and I too will always think of it as Doug & Lue's. But hey whay's wrong with that. Keep on with your great adventure and I'll be following you. Aunt Wendy
From Hockey Player to Author My thoughts are still with you and your family. Thank you, as you continue to share your mother's legacy with your words.
The pictures are great, but not as great as this quote, "Tomorrow morning brings with it another day of new scenery and more quality driving time with my beautiful girlfriend"
Nice Pics! Thanks for sharing these pics guys! Looks exciting thus far. I see Dale's on top of the world there, are you throwing that speeding ticket off the edge LOL...Keep having fun guys!
I loved reading your first blog post, Alana. I can not get over the kindness displayed by Shane - what a great person.
Also: very much enjoyed seeing how the blog post started off so heartwarming and ended in the reality that being hangry (hungry+angry) is not good for anyone. In all seriousness though, what a wonderful way to start off this road trip by seeing so much of your family history come to life.
XO
P.S. Dale, your guest commentary made me laugh out loud.
HAwesome blog Hi guys,

journey. Alberta sounded beautiful and I
am so pleased you were able to find your grandma's roots in Tugaske SK. It was quite touching reading how those steangers assisted with your search. Have fun visiting with Dale's friends and family in Manitoba and exploring his childhood grounds. Can't wait to read about what happens as you go further east. Have fun!!!
Bon Voyage! Have a safe and fun trip guys. Don't miss Vancouver too much. Make it memorable and remember, "patience". Be bold and find the courage to be daring!
Hello everyone!
