treats LOL! Who knows? Your coffee/yogurt/jelly gravity test may have showed the people working there that you really liked the food and maybe wanted to show it off ;) That's great about those nice people at the market place and the woman in the library. What a treat!

Your pictures The tree behind the gas station is beautiful. It's interesting that they had it fenced off with such a large cercumfrance. With all that room around it, it looks a bit... Sozihna :) I love the pictures and am looking forward to seeing more if you get them.

various I really like your workers' photos. Also, the hat is funny.
The photo of the fountain. Nice-I looked and could not see the Mac Donalds, that was even nicer.
Escape I just caught up with you and your trip this morning reviewing all your entries. A perfect escape for me as I'm nestled in my American life here. Love the tales of daily challenges. Waiting for more.
High Mass We went to Holy thursday Mass last night,in remembrance of the last supper that Jesus had with his Apostles. Maybe the Mass you went to was the Chrism Mass since their were so many priest there, all the priest in the dioceces go to renew their Ordination Vows. Our priest went to the St Louis Cathedral for that Mass yesterday.
What was the name of the Cathredal that you were at?

I always told my students I was a "life-long learner." So this March 19th coming up, the rubber meets the road, or the wings take to the sky, or whatever cliche fits. Anyway, I'm setting off from Houston, Alaska to Portugal, all on my own. ... full info
