I reckon the reason why they looked so much like humans is because they WERE humans paid to dress up and fool stupid tourists who think they're paying hundreds of pounds to see gorillas in the wild.

Amazing Photos Dear Adam and Marianne,
Just watching some photos from Kakamega Forest reserve that I had not yet seen. Amazing. Kudos to "Trees in the Mist" (absolute favorite), "Ants" and "Butterfly on a salt lick" and the super cute "Blue Headed Bee Eaters"!!!! SOOOOO CUTEEEE!!! Thanks for the wonderful pictures!
Have a good safe trip to Rwanda Hey Guys,
Sunday night - tired after a weekend of building furniture and a first week back at work - I relax by reading the new entries in your journal, dreaming with the birds and the trees of your pictures. Thanks for the effort of putting all this info on the net. Have a safe and wonderful trip to Rwanda! Maria
I feel so sorry for you I bet, every day, you're regreting your decision to leave exciting Darmstadt and head to such a boring place like Africa....
Oh I wanna go travelling again!
Great Travel Blog! Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your travel blog. Great work, keep it up!
Cheers, Alie

Great Pics guys! Your pictures are terrific. I loved the flamingos. Even some of the photos made with the little Powershot SD800 camera are looking really good. Hope you guys are not getting too troubled with the 'tourist thing'. You are bound to be in touristy situations no matter what. And if that is what it takes to see these fantastic landscapes and wildlife, so be it!!! Great job on the website. (Hinweis: Backup if you can). Hugs, Maria
