Maria, Thank you for sharing the experience with us. You have such a talent writing and telling stories. The kids have been great and fun! If I was not along on the trip, I am glad that I could help in a little way, here! Miss everyone and am excited to see everyone, soon!
Love,
Anne
Wear that red shirt with "proud" We just got a look at your blog on Anne's computer. Sounds like a great experience all around. Looking forward to your arrival on Thursday eve! Mom and Dad
Congrats Runners!! I was never a runner, but Joan and I both miss the incredibly beautiful walk from your place to Gunnel's seaside haven - I'm missing Sweden!
Greetings Dear Maria
This is Mayasa , I’m the daughter of Muth.Al Omar, whom his photo above with you and your family , I heard a lot from him about the trip and how wonderful it was to meet you guys.
I defiantly loved your photos and i hope to visit Greek next year maybe
all the best
Greece and Oil Speaking of "Greece and Oil," it seems like you two had a gas on this trip. What a group of people you found....are you sure the one in pink was actually a woman??? I enjoyed Greece many years ago....especially the roast goat and lamb hanging in the markets.....and the Moussaka....um, um good. Graduation party here Sunday for Magnus from Sweden. His parents arrived today.
Greeting from Abu Dhabi Thank you Maria, for this nice descripition of your trip to Greece, in which I was also present with many other good friends like Jeff, Hussain, Caroline who appreas in the photo and many others.
I hope we can meet again, some time, some how, some where
Best of luck to you and Jeff.
Omar
love your description of the cruise! -meeting people from other countries helps us see both sides of many issues! For one, we all do want the best for our families. So glad that you and your husband were able to do some travel together. (Wish I had known about the sandal maker!)
You did it!!! Dear Cousins, what happy travelers you are! Does it feel good to be "connected" at last? I am pleased all your plans have produced a trip that exceeded your expectations and that your memories will be so full and exciting. God is GOOD!
Oh Maria! I love reading your blogs. You make me laugh so hard. I can't wait for your return. We have a lot to catch up on...for starters, I got a job as the baker for Dunn Bros Coffee Shop!
spring I can't believe you've been there almost a year. The time moves too fast. Jorgen has a good mullet going there. He'll fit right in when he comes home.
Breathtaking Your description makes this totally real to me. Sometimes, staying close to one place allows you to take in a lot. I am going to return to Patrick's frech backery (66th and Xerxes) for more pastry in honor of you. Good for you Girl: this is a huge undertaking and you did it, Madam!
Sigh Wow - thank you for the great descriptions and photos, my ever- eloquent Maria! I am so proud of you for venturing to Paris on your own. You are living a "belle vie"!!
What a hoot. I'm feelin' the season, now. ready for D.C. Wish JJ and little Orville could be with us for the trip. Had a suprise 50th b-day party for Kim Froseth (callies) saturday in Brandon. Went up with Larry and Janet Haak. We butchered a pig a few weeks ago at the Haak's. Ground it all into sausage and brats. My take filled a nice section of my freezer. Hope this finds you well fed and warm. Please extend my gratitude for the fine preformance to your Swedish friends. I thoroughly enjoyed their interpretation. Unreasoner
Our family has decided this is a good year for an adventure, as Jeff has earned sabbatical for the 2008-2009 academic year. We'll be living in Gothenburg Sweden (where Jeff will be doing mercury research) and plan to visit as many European countries as we can. On the list, Emma wants pizza in Italy, Signe wants to visit the Eiffel Tower and Jorgen is in search of a castle! As for Jeff and I, he wants to visit the land of his forefathers (Norway) and I'm in search of great local food wherever the road takes us.... full info
