Kuwait Hi Bob,
I absolutely loved seeing your pictures of Kuwait. I lived there from 1991 to 2002, from the age of 2. I haven't been back there since, although I have heard from numerous friends that the place has changed a lot in that amount of time.
Bahamas Hi Bob...
Hope all is well with you and yours... We are off to the Bahamas in the next week (mid Dec, 2010) or so... send us an email as to your plans...
Cheers

Hi Steve. I'm back in UK now, for three weeks. I then return to Bahamas to carry on where I left off. We will head north and maybe east, until around the end of July.

We had three "lumpy rides in the gulfstream because we had no time to wait for a weather window... Bruce and I liked it fine .. our wives survived!... continued success on your venture... I will monitor your progress with interest..

skiing Hi Dave, good to hear from you. I remember Copeland frm A3, but I also believe I bumped into him and some of the other guys from A3, skiing in Mayrhofen one year. I think one of them was Murphy. Enjoy the skiing, it was my other option for this winter.
The temperature and weather is very much in line with a UK summer, changable, frontal weather with highs in the mid 70's and lows in the high 50's.
Good to hear your news Hi Bob. Thanks for your news - we look forward to following your progress with envy. I bet you are not missing Midhurst's cold weather. I played golf today in falling snow but still good to get out for fresh air. What sort of temperatures do you have ? I am off skiing to Obergurgl, Austria on 20th February with Paul Copeland, Mike Drew and Graham Moore - do you remember those guys for A3 Guildford ? Best Wishes and fair winds. Dave Wickham
Hi Paul hi Paul,
It's good to hear from you and I trust that things are good in your world. I'm pleased that simon forwarded the email and link to you.
You would be most welcome to join me aboard the good ship Harbinger if you fancy a break later in the year.
Take care
Bob
Hi Bob. Most surprised to be copied in to your blog by Simon Elliott and even more surprised to hear what you were up to. But, when I thought more about it I realised that this really is you. I guess that you have always treasured 'freedom' from commitments and have that nomadic instinct. Some would say that it is excaping from the real world and responsibility but I assure you that I and most others are jealous that you are realising and living your dream. Not many have the opportunity or guts to do that. You clearly have.
So, good on you mate and my sincere best wishes to you for your journey, wherever that will now take you.

Great to hear you are on your way. I used to get mail addressed to me at the buro fao Mr Harbinger! Sounds like fun except for the pots. More fun than sitting in a hotel in Riyadh.
Take care
Alan
Hi
The work is almost done and the plans are set to return to my beloved Harbinger to carry on sailing. As of April 18th 2014 I will be free of the daily grind and I can finally become a nomad.
I will wander as the weather and the whim takes me, sometimes sailing, sometimes by road, but wander I will. Come along, it'll be fun.
