Really interesting description about my hometown Hi, there!
catch your blog through google search. Your traveling blog is really interesting, and I even see your mentioning my hometown, where the reservoir is located half-way between the Guangshui and SuiZhou. And it also seems sure that you experienced some real Chinese culture, I mean what you see on the road in the Qing Ming day. If you visit the reservoir in June, July or August, I guess you see more good sight.
Also surprised that you western people don't like the meat of China. Would you be so kind to tell us what is the reason? The taste, or any thing reasons?
BTW, do you know any other western people who are teaching in guangshui yizhong right now? Any report like your blog? I am eager to see any latest report like yours.
Thanks and Best Regards. And wish you are happy when you recall what you experience in these old days in my homeland. :-)
Guangshui is Changing Just ran into this site, my hometown is on!
Just like other cities and towns in China, it's changing quite quickly. I've been out of hometown and stayed in other cities for >10 years. My parents are still there and Miss my homeplace very much.
my hometown! Today I just suddenly wanted to search and check if there is anything about my hometown on English Web space. When I input ‘guangshui’ in google, and found this page is the top one in returned results.
Actually I never thought there are something like that related to my hometown on English Web space. When I was a child, I never saw any western people in Guangshui. Now it seems there are some foreigners whose teach English in schools (No.1 high school?)
China is open to the world.
Anywhere?
Thanks for pictures. I didn’t go back here for a really long time.
They make me miss guangshui now.

I am wondering if you are teaching in the No1 Middle School, located on Yingshi Road, because I have just received their job proposal.

Hi Jerry and Linese!!
I really enjoyed reading what you have been up to lately. It makes me miss Guangshui - although I don't miss the water and power cuts! I hope you enjoy the rest of your time there.
Love Renee :)
Hi Linny
I am still enjoying your diary! Would never tire of reading your adventures! You should think of putting all your travels into a book. I am sure it would sell well. Keep up the writing.
All is well in Sarina and very busy with my weddings.
