Goa Goa Goa....

Hello everyone!

Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a good one.

We finally arrived in Arambol, North Goa after a 7 hours wait in Mumbai. We had a good new year's eve but unfortunately there wasn't one of these famous trance parties going on we were hoping for. We had drinks at various bars and then went to the party at our guesthouse.

Not much happened in Arambol apart from Ant driving off without me after stopping for an ATM and a dog we befriended peeing on our clothes at Keri beach. It's a very chilled out and relaxed place with quite a few hippies. People do random yoga stuff on the beach which is quite funny and it's generally very laid back.

We hired a scooter and explored the surrounding towns and beaches. I can see why people get stuck in Goa. There is some special about it.

We arrived at Palolelm, South Goa late last night. We are staying at a place called 'The Nest' which is lovely. A proper beach hut kinda place. It turned out that our neighbours are Ant's old schoolmate and his wife from North London. What a small world. They hadn't seen each other in about 10 years.

We love Palolelm. I chilled on the beach and Ant went riding his motorbike. Finally managed to find some decent wifi but we already had 3 power cuts.

So far we are enjoying the food and no dodgy stomachs! I hope it stays this way.
