Spent a good part of the day with some people we met riding through the Kebang National Park. We went in the backway so we didn't have to pay the 50,000 dong entrance fee. It is very green and lots of waterfalls.

In the evening we went with John and a couple locals from the farmstay to a yearly event in Phong Nha. It was a carnival with games where you could win beer, stuffed animals, gum, snacks etc. There was a train ride going around in the centre for kids, and lady boys singing on stage. When we arrived we turned into part of the attraction. Children wanted photos, people would come up saying hello. We played games and won some prizes then headed back to the farm.
