Journey to Islands

Finally here at the Islands! Few days in Ko Samui, the Canary islands of Thailand, and then maybe few days in Ko Phangan and/or Ko Tao.

The trip from Bangkok to Ko Samui totally took about 18 hours. We used 5 different vehicles (three vans and two bus) and one boat to get here.
- First van from travel agent to real bus
- Second van to the correct bus
- First bus (12 hours)
- Van to harbour
- Bus to a real harbour

After 3 hours of journey I was about 10 minutes walk away from my hotel! Normal bus would have been much faster, or VIP bus, but those were sold out. Now it was a lot of waiting every time vehicle was changed. Waiting is something that I just need to get used to.

But it was fun trip thanks to all other travellers in a same bus. Still next time I might take a plane….
