Edit Blog Post

Sooo, just wrote an epic long blog and the internet died and lost the blog... so thats annooying.

ill write it again properly when i get a chance but a quick summary of our week in cambodia:

2 days in phnom penh at the museum, grand palace, markets. we stayed in a place called the top banana which was decked out with hammoks and cushions etc, v nice. spent too much on cocktails..

3 days siem reap at the temples of angkor, felt like indiana jones wandering through the temples, they were stunning and strangely eery, and the insane market they have there buying too many khmer scarves... and general much needed chillaxing

back to phnom penh to pick up our laos visas and to another museum on the pol pot regime, not very happy, but then we found a pirate harry potter 6 so watched that 😊 stayed in a different area of the city called the lakeside for much needed cheaper food and drinks (both more expensive here than in vietnam!!)

now were in kratie, a little town in the north on the way to the laos border and went on a boat trip this afternoon, after a ridiculously bumpy motobike ride, on the mekong river to see the rare irrawaddy dolphins which we saw quite a few of so that was pretty awesome!!!

will elaborate when i have time but it is now 10.30pm and they are closing the bar... not much of a nightlife in kratie...

off to laos tomorrow so will update from there, hope all is well for everyone 😊 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
