beijing day two

We got a decent breakfast at the hotel then headed off 2 the Forbidden City. The taxi
driver left us at the back gate so we went thru that way. It is always amazing to see the
City. 300 to 400 years old yet do massive. The labor needed to carve the thousands of shaped drains without
modern tools is mind boggling. I'll post those photos after I return.
From the Forbidden City we went shopping where Mike went crazy over the electronics. Hope they work

In alley where they first parked apart them pulled out a card showing the price to be 300 or about $35. We
First walked to get back together then laughed at them as we walked away off to the main street where people
Were around. We did pay but only 20 rmb or about $3
