Spent last night sitting on a park bench, eating biscuits and watching the stray dogs play fight.

Shimla is in the hills, altitude of 2205m so its very cold at night. Lots of pine trees, old Tudor buildings and monkeys so it doesn’t feel like India. Its very beautiful, you can see snow covered mountain in the distance.

Visited the Christ Church, very old and interesting - especially the memorial plaques inside the building.

Met two people from Somerset in the Park Cafe, very funny. Arranged to meet in the morning to trek to the Jakhu temple, the highest point in Shimla.
