Konnichiwa!

I'm alive so stop worrying everybody. I was a bit jetlagged yesterday but had my first full day in Tokyo today and its been incredible. I've been up a skyscraper in a failed attempt to see Mt Fuji (bloody fog), and spent bulk of the day in Shinjuku, the crazy neon part of the city. I managed to get a bit lost in the red light district (not on purpose)but found my way out again. Some incredible parks in Tokyo and delicious big bowelsof ramen. Waitress laughed at my chopstick technique. And japanese peopleI've met are so friendly. One old man spotted me looking pathetic with a map, tried to help me find restaurant on the map, then called the place on his mobile, then escorted me there. What a guy! Its sweltering here but is now pissing down so that's pretty refreshing.

Up at 4 am tomorrow to watch the fish auction at tsukiji fish market. I've never seen 4am before.

Hope everybody's OK
