Perfume Pagoda

Nov 1 Day trip to Perfume pagoda, up in the hills outside Hanoi. Started out by bus early in the morning for a two hour ride to the river(which I can't for the life of me remember the name of) At the river we were met by two ladies,who took us in their small boat an hour up the river to the cave where the perfume pagoda is located. After a climb up a gazillion stairs, we reached the chair lift that would take us the rest of the way up to the cave, another gazillion stairs and we were down in the cave. The Vietnamese people believe that Budah is present in this cave, and many make a pilgramage here during the first three months of the lunar year to pray for sons, wealth and health.
