Hey! Ethan and Liam here. Second day in Hoi An was a mix of a free day and an activity day! At 7 30am a small group of us set out to learn to cook a Vietnamese dish- Us two and Lisa were the only ones to partake the rest of the youth choosing to farm tomorrow! The rest of the day was set aside to explore the city of about 80,000 a huge step down from the millions in Saigon! It is a very central city much like Wellington. With the shops a short walk from our hotel! At least 3/4 sell hand crafted goods ranging from shoes and jackets suits and dresses etc to jewelery and silk garments. The shoes, Suits and jackets being a very popular option! The heat was bearable today and sweat didn't drop in the litres! We were again allowed to roam and find a restaurant for dinner! i don't know about the others but the one Geoff Seamus and us went to was nice other then the occasional power cut. 120,000 dong for a set menu was rather cheap! So all in all today was a day to explore and shop shop shop.
